The Process

I am thrilled to announce my collaboration with Autism Care Partners in launching an educational website to support children and their families throughout their ABA journey!

My goal was to create a comprehensive resource where families can easily access various services for their children. This website aims to cultivate a confident and optimistic view of Applied Behavior Analysis while improving access to essential services such as ABA, Speech, and Occupational Therapy. Additionally, I sought to educate our audience on the evidence-based practices we implement to help children enhance their communication, learning, social, and daily living skills.

I worked closely with our Senior Leadership Team each week to ensure that every aspect—from scientific terminology to user interface—reflected clinical precision and optimal UI/UX design. I also designed custom illustrations for each service and detailed infographics to empower families by providing clear insights into how we conduct diagnostic treatments and support children in developing the skills they need to thrive at home and in the classroom.

When I joined the team, I envisioned a revamped website that would truly embody our commitment to service. I wanted to highlight the dedicated staff at Autism Care Partners by showcasing our clinical team through detailed profiles, allowing families to connect with individuals passionate about advancing our mission. I enhanced our platform with updated tour videos, giving families and prospective team members a heartfelt glimpse into our nurturing centers across New England and New York.

Supporting our recruiting team was a priority for me. I developed a careers page that offers thorough information and engaging infographics about becoming a Registered Behavior Technician, along with an interactive question-and-answer section about a day in the life of an RBT. Staying true to our brand’s values, I incorporated our vibrant color palette and dynamic waves throughout every webpage, illustrating Autism Care Partners' core values of optimism and hope!

In collaboration with ACP’s Clinical Team, I effectively conveyed Autism Care Partners' message through thoughtful UI/UX design. The organization is dedicated to empowering children and their families with clinical excellence and ethical care at the heart of its mission.

The Visual Immersion System

One of the most rewarding experiences at Autism Care Partners was the opportunity to create engaging and informative animations for the Visual Immersion System, empowering prospective partnerships and educating individuals on language comprehension.

This groundbreaking initiative, developed by the brilliant Dr. Howard Shane—a leading authority in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems—in collaboration with Boston Children’s Hospital, is rooted in over 20 years of rigorous, evidence-based research. The VIS is designed to empower individuals with developmental disorders, making it an invaluable tool for language acquisition.

When the AVP of VIS and Partnerships approached me about effectively conveying the incredible capabilities of the Visual Immersion System, I seized the opportunity! I envisioned a dynamic series of animated modules that would not only inform but also inspire audiences to learn more about the VIS. These animations would break down the components of the Visual Immersion System, highlighting how it can be tailored to meet the unique language acquisition needs of children.

Working closely with our AVP, who maintained communication with Dr. Shane, we collaborated over several months to create three captivating animations. These modules vividly illustrate key aspects of the VIS, from animated graphic symbols to scene cues and technology designed to enhance comprehension.

We used engaging animations to illustrate the flexible framework of VIS, which is essential for helping children develop language skills tailored to their individual needs and enhancing their communication abilities. Witnessing this project come to life was truly an honor!
